No one can neglect the fact that social media has created a new way to communicate with people from all around the world: communications has been simplified. Never before has it been easier to meet new people and build up new relations with all kinds of people. Social media also creates an opportunity to bring people with common interests together. If someone is willing to bring a change in the society but has no support then social media is the best option to reach out to people for support and to promote our social change campaign. I also used all possible kinds of social media to promote my social media for social change campaign, which was to agree people to help aged people in nursing homes and it also emphasized on improving living standards in nursing homes. To be honest the response I got from the public was very unexpected. Many appreciated my idea and ensured me that they will help me out whenever I will be in need of help in my campaign. So I have been using the following social media sites to promote my campaign: 
1) Blogger: It was the most initial site how I started promoting my campaign. I published my blog and I received many appreciating comments from the audience. I got 310 page views and 16 appreciating comments. Through blogger I have raising awareness among public that what steps should be take care of before sending their older parents to nursing homes. And I have been sharing stories from different nursing homes to let people know what actually happens in nursing homes now a days which includes the feelings of aged people and also the conditions of the nursing homes. 
2) Twitter: Twitter is one of the most popular social media site now a days specially among teens. As we have a restricted amount of letters in our tweets and we cannot make lengthy tweets, so I used this site to advertise my blogs and Facebook page. I used to tweet the links to my blog updates and also my Facebook page. This gave me more and more followers and supporters. 
3) YouTube: The most popular site for streaming videos. So I made my video and uploaded it onto youtube to promote my campaign. This also helped me to gain more supporters as some teens of now a days take more interest in watching videos rather than reading a blog so this was a good way to get out to some more people.
3)Facebook:  I used Facebook to promote my social media change campaign by creating a page for my social media for social change campaign. This was one of the most effective way of promoting my campaign and to convince youth to volunteer at nursing homes. After going through my Facebook page one of my friends commented on a post on my page that he has a nursing home in his town and he told me that he will be pleased to sign up to volunteer there. This was the first step for my success.
4) Instagram:  Instagram is one of the most emerging social site to share pictures. I shared the pictures of my friend who use to volunteer at a nursing house in her town. This also remained an effective way to convince people to help aged people.
5) LinkedIn: LinkedIn is said to be the platform where professionals meet. I advertised my campaign and looked out for some people who work on my campaign in my home community. I send them invitations so that they can know what I am doing and so that they can also help me out in my campaign. 
    This is how I effectively utilized all possible social media sites to promote my social change campaign.
